Recently, Challengers Comics and Conversation, in Chicago, threw a massive blowout to celebrate the release of the deluxe edition of “Sixth Gun” vol. 1. They had a tattoo artist on hand giving ink of the various gun sigils, replicas of the guns, whiskey tastings, and the fantastic creative team of Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt were on hand. I sat down with them and Oni Press editor Charlie Chu to discuss the popularity of the supernatural western, cutting tv show deals, Bunn’s Marvel projects including “Magneto” and the Deadpool zombie mini, the end of “Fearless Defenders” and so much more!
