Artist Dan Dougherty comes on to discuss his long running, award winning newspaper cartoon, Beardo- how syndication works, how comic strips are staying alive, and the legacy of cartooning. He is also 6 issues deep into a supernatural thriller comic called "Touching Evil", about a woman with a deadly gift she can't seem to shake. They discuss his varying art styles, working with actor Dan Fogler, the consistency of placenta and much more!

This week, Wendi talks to the delightful Joyce Chin. Joyce's history starts from pencilling "Guy Gardner: Warrior" for DC back in 1995, and currently she's an accomplished cover artist, doing many covers for Dynamite, including the Gail Simone penned crossover event, "Swords of Sorrow". Gene Ha is one of the most thorough, detailed and good natured artists working in comics today. Known for his DC work such as "The Shade" and "Project: Superman" as well as Alan Moore's "Top Ten", it's time for him to step into his own creator owned fantasy. Which is exactly what he's doing with "Mae", a young adult, female driven story about friendship and sisterhood and strange creatures with Czech names. He and Wendi talk about this new project, how to run a successful kickstarter and the appeal of smart brunettes!
